These terms govern the use of the Zappix mobile app, published by Thomas Vignet, sole trader operating under the business name “Zappix” (SIRET 10781409700013), hereafter “we”. By creating an account or using the app, you accept these terms.
Zappix is a free app that lets you track the TV shows, films and manga you watch or read: mark episodes as watched, manage lists, browse a release calendar and see statistics. Catalogue metadata comes from third-party services (TMDB, AniList).
No feature is bought with money. The app offers no in-app purchase and asks for no payment method.
“Zaps”. Zappix has an internal currency, zaps, earned only through use — one zap per day you open the app, plus a starting allowance. Zaps cannot be bought, exchanged or transferred between accounts, and have no monetary value. They unlock cosmetic items (avatars, banners, frames, titles) that change neither features nor progress. Zaps and unlocked cosmetics are tied to your account: they disappear with it if you delete it, and give rise to no refund or compensation.
We may add, remove or change the zap price of cosmetic items. An item removed from the shop stays acquired for those who already unlocked it.
Creating an account requires a valid email address and makes you responsible for keeping your credentials confidential. You must be at least 16. You can delete your account at any time from within the app.
You agree not to use the app for unlawful purposes, not to attempt to disrupt its operation, not to access other users’ data, and not to extract its content in bulk.
Zappix lets you publish reviews, replies, reactions, and lists that you choose to make public. You remain the author of that content and you are responsible for it. By publishing it, you simply authorise us to display it to other members within the app — this authorisation is free of charge, limited to that single use, and ends when you delete the content or your account.
You agree to publish nothing unlawful, abusive, hateful or misleading, and not to publish someone else’s content without their agreement. We may remove content that breaks these rules, and suspend an account in the event of repeated breaches. A reporting mechanism is available in the app, and a review reported often enough is hidden automatically.
Collaborative lists: if you invite other members to contribute to one of your lists, they can add titles to it and remove their own. You alone can delete the list, and you can remove a contributor at any time. Each person remains responsible for what they add.
Nothing you publish is sold, assigned or used for advertising purposes. The detail of what is visible to whom is set out in the privacy policy.
The app, its name, its logo and its interface are protected. Posters, titles and catalogue information belong to their respective holders and are supplied via TMDB and AniList. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
The information displayed (summaries, images, ratings) comes from third parties; we guarantee neither its accuracy nor its availability.
The app is provided “as is”, with no guarantee of continuous availability. To the extent permitted by law, we cannot be held liable for indirect damage arising from its use.
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account in the event of a breach of these terms.
These terms may change. The date at the top of the page indicates the version in force; significant changes will be flagged to you in the app.
